Renaissance Reconfigured takes the grace and balance of Renaissance painting and rebuilds it in a contemporary language. The work holds on to essence rather than appearance. Classical figures, architectural symmetry and luminous light all remain, but they arrive translated, through gestural brushwork, fractured composition and a palette that belongs entirely to the present.
The process is both deconstructive and reconstructive. Ornament and tradition are peeled away until only the emotional core remains, then new marks and colours are layered back in to let that core breathe. Each painting becomes a bridge between the patience of the past and the restlessness of now.
In this collection, history is not a relic to be preserved. It is a living influence, capable of evolving without losing what made it matter.
